National Cap & Gown Restaurant Week 2017 (May 12-21)

The Charm'tastic Mile of Baltimore wanted to honor the high school & college graduates who celebrate their academic achievements with family & friends. Their day of celebration continues at a favorite or popular restaurant.

National Cap & Gown Restaurant Week will be an Annual 2-weekend 10-day celebration of the graduate who wears their "Cap & Gown" and walks across the stage with pride and excitement. That pride and excitement is also enjoyed by family members who have also made sacrifices to see that student receive their prestigious honor.

After the graduation ceremony many of the students have lunch or dinner reservations at a restaurant. C&G Restaurant Week gives dining establishments around the country an opportunity to create and market popular dishes, 2 & 3 course lunch and dinner special menus, and daily events catered to the graduates and their families.

National Cap & Gown Restaurant Week also helps to promote the "American Dream" that is shared by many of the graduates who come from all regions of the country and around the world. It's a celebration of the "Melting Pot" that America was based upon and continues to be.

The Charm'tastic Mile will be seeking Proclamations from Mayors around the country to proclaim May 12-21, 2017 as National Cap & Gown Restaurant Week.
